Anna Caplan is a nonprofit and project management professional. Since joining the Western Governors' Association in 2020, she has worked closely with President Jim Ogsbury to build a dynamic philanthropic arm for the Western Governors’ Association. Passionate about supporting other young leaders on their professional journeys, Anna draws from her own experiences. “I remember when I graduated college, the world felt chaotic. Gabriella Smith
Administrator for ArtsWA’s Wellness, Arts, and the Military Department
Gabriella Smith was chosen to represent Washington State at the Western Governors’ Leadership Institute in 2022. Today, she is a creative arts professional with a Master’s degree in Music Industry. Driven by a passion for advocacy, Gabriella has led arts initiatives in both government and nonprofit sectors, provided grants and technical assistance to support military communities, and brings a strong background in education, cultural competency, outreach, and strategic project development. Her dedication earned her the Vet Corps Member of the Year Award in 2022.
